Claims Triage Service
Fast, compassionate, and structured injury triage from the moment a claim is lodged.
At Priority Care Health Solutions, we understand that early engagement following a workplace injury is critical to positive outcomes.
That’s why we offer a streamlined Claims Triage Service that ensures prompt support, structured injury assessment, and efficient documentation — all with empathy and professionalism.
Our triage process begins as soon as an incident is reported. An experienced Injury Management Advisor connects with the injured worker to:
- Clarify how the injury occurred and assess its immediate impact
- Discuss current symptoms, pain levels, and work limitations
- Provide reassurance and outline possible recovery steps
- Identify potential barriers to return to work — including social, emotional, or workplace factors
- Coordinate early support such as medical appointments or suitable duties
- Prepare a comprehensive triage summary for employers and return-to-work teams.
Each triage summary includes:
- Incident and injury details
- Pain assessment and movement restrictions
- Current treatment status (e.g., x-rays, GP review, medication)
- Work capacity and worker views on recovery
- Social and home support considerations
- Barrier identification using a structured flag system (Red, Yellow, Blue, Black)
- Recommended next steps
- Contact preferences and consent

Pre-Employment Medicals
Developed to the requirements of the organisation, down to the requirements of the actual job description, a pre-employment assessment can assist an organisation in ensuring potential new recruits have the capacity to perform the inherent physical requirements of the role, minimising future injury risk and providing a base line of capacity.
Absence Management
Priority Care’s Early Absence Management Services is a 24hr a day service that provides immediate care for your employees, all the while ensuring organisational policies are being adhered to, and optimising communication within the business to allow proper staffing levels are maintained.
Workplace Capacity Assessments
Workplace Capacity assessments can be utilised for all injury and illness types that employees might present with, while the outcome of the assessment will be to identify an employee’s capability to either remain in the workplace or the best way to accommodate them during their recovery process.
